PGA REACH Central New York

PGA REACH Central New York, previously the Central New York PGA Foundation, Inc. (CNY PGA Foundation), is the 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization affiliated with the Central New York PGA Section.

In the summer of 2022, the PGA Reach CNY Board of Governors approved updated bylaws and authorized a licensing agreement with PGA REACH, the national philanthropic arm of the PGA of America. They also approved filing a Certificate of Assumed Name in New York State to operate as PGA REACH Central New York.

These changes were board-authorized to: (1) ensure PGA Reach Central New York’s mission aligns with PGA REACH’s mission of positively influencing youth, military personnel, and diverse groups by providing access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections, and golf through its three philanthropic pillars: Youth Programs (PGA Jr. League/Drive, Chip and Putt), Military/Veterans (PGA HOPE), and Underrepresented Communities (PGA Works); and (2) capitalize on PGA REACH’s national marketing efforts for PGA Jr. League/DCP, PGA HOPE, and PGA Works.

Our Central New York PGA membership, consisting of over 200 PGA Member Professionals and associates across Upstate New York, is dedicated to community service and promoting the game of golf. By supporting PGA REACH CNY’s programs and initiatives, we aim to achieve our objectives of growing the game and removing obstacles to participation, both in playing golf and in the golf industry.
