Thank you to all who generously donated to the 2023 PGA National Day of HOPE Campaign!

Our Section achieved its goal this year. We raised $10,025 in donations. By reaching our goal of $10,000, PGA REACH will be matching the $10,000 raised by the Section, giving the CNY PGA a total of $20,025. All funds raised will go directly back into our local programming which directly impacts Veterans’ lives.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH. PGA HOPE introduces golf to active military and veterans (including veterans with disabilities) to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

The Central New York PGA recognizes the great contributions and sacrifices that men and women who are currently serving or have served in the military have made for our country. We are serving our service members and veterans through PGA HOPE. The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency.

All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations (like PGA REACH Central New York), so the cost of programming is free to all veterans.

Since 2017, the CNY PGA Foundation has run multiple PGA HOPE programs for both veterans and active-duty military each golf season at Turning Stone Resort Casino. In 2023, PGA HOPE programs were offered in the Binghamton Region.

Now, through PGA REACH Central New York Pro-Am fundraising efforts and donations, we will continue to support our current programs as well as expand into the Oswego/Watertown/Fort Drum region in the near future.
