The Central New York PGA honored 2020 Section Award Winners during a ceremony Aug. 16 at Timber Banks Golf Club. After Covid-19 forced the postponement of last year’s formal award ceremony, a special event was held after the first round of the Section Championship at Timber Banks’ new clubhouse.

 

The ceremony gave individuals who won 2020 awards an opportunity to be formally recognized by the Section in front of family and peers. CNY PGA Executive Director Alan Seamans introduced the award winners in attendance while Section President Sean Dadey handed each winner their custom framed plaque.

 

Steve Campanaro, PGA (Teugega CC) received the top award of the evening as the 2020 Golf Professional of the Year.
