Boys and girls champions were crowned, respectively, as members of the Central New York PGA Junior Tour competed for age division titles Aug. 17-18 at the Junior Tour Championships. The 36-hole stroke play event, open to boys and girls ages 9-20, was held at the Shenendoah and Kaluhyat courses at Turning Stone Resort Casino.

 

Here are the 2022 division winners:

 

Boys 12-13: Thomas Goodelle of New Hartford

Boys 14-15: Jake Olearzyk of Barneveld

Boys 16-18: Mitch Riter of Homer

Girls 9-11: Lauri Busch of Sauquoit

Girls 12-14: Kamryn Yerman of Frankfort

Girls 15-18: Bethany Wineburg of Homer

At the conclusion of the tournament, the Junior Player of the Year awards were determined. The 2022 boys and girls players of the year were:
