The Pompey Club will be host to the New York Adaptive Golf Clinic at 9 a.m. on May 13. The focus of the clinic is to train individuals in adaptive golf skills to better serve youth, adults and veterans with physical, cognitive and/or sensory impairments.

 

This event is open to PGA and LPGA Golf Professionals, golf coaches, physical therapists, volunteers and participants. The Adaptive Golf helps players with impairments enjoy a positive golf experience that can enhance their lives.

PGA/LPGA Members encouraged to attend/earn 8 MSR’s (Required Education Category) in becoming a Trained Adaptive Golf Coach to support NY Adaptive Golf community clinics as well as best serve your own club members when any swing/equipment adaptations arise.

 

There will be a $30 fee upon registration for this clinic which will cover the cost of lunch as well as offset other various costs.
