Teugega Country Club hosted the Pro-Am Championship yesterday, as the pro-am season winds down in Central New York.
Host professional and Teugega Country Club PGA of America Associate Matt Campbell defended his individual professional title, finishing at 1-under-par 69.
Campbell’s round got off to a difficult start as he opened with two bogeys. He settled in as the round progressed and found his rhythm, making a matching 3 on the back nine to finish with a 69 and finish the day 1-under par.
Zach Vinal finished second with a 2-over-par 72, marking his fourth second-place finish of the year.
The team portion of the Pro-Am was won by McConnellsville Country Club, which finished at an impressive 15-under-par.
The team competition was played in a format where one net ball and one gross ball counted on each hole. Elm Tree finished second with 13- under-par.
The Central New York PGA would like to thank Trey Walewski at Under Armour who provided backpacks as the tee gift for participants.
