Dennis Colligan fired a 6-under-par 65 to lead all players at the Central New York PGA Spring Pro-Pro/Pro Individual held at Cazenovia Country Club on May 20.
The tournament format was 18 holes of individual Stableford competition. Colligan (Cazenovia Golf Club), reigning Section and Senior Player of the Year, carded six birdies, two bogeys and an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
Will Weimer (Stone Creek Golf Club) was second with a 67 including an eagle on the par-5 10th hole. Jeff Reader (Cazenovia CC) was third.
The individual professional competition was also a Rolex Player of the Year & Senior Player of the Year point event.
There was also a team Stableford competition Colligan teamed up with Sean Dadey (Drumlins CC) to top the team leaderboard. The teams were created by the Tournament Staff via a blind draw.
Tied for second in the team event were Weimer and Jay Turcsik (Mark Twain Golf Course) and Ryan Evans (Dick’s Sporting Goods) and Robert Marton (Cavalry Club). Evans carded an eagle on hole No. 15.
