Pleasant Knolls at Turning Stone Resort Casino hosted an exciting day of junior golf competition as Central New York’s top PGA Jr. League All-Star teams gathered to battle for a spot in the Regional Championships.

A total of 16 teams — 13 from the 13u Division and 3 from the 17u Division — competed in a fun and competitive showcase of talent. Each team, made up of eight juniors from their respective leagues, played in pairs under the two-person captain and mate format. Scores from the lowest three pairs were combined to determine each team’s total.

When the final putts dropped, Corning Country Club emerged victorious in both divisions. Their 13u squad posted a winning score of 103, while the 17u team fired an impressive 96 to claim the title. With the victories, Corning advances to represent Central New York at the PGA Jr. League Regional event.

Beyond the competition, the day was filled with camaraderie and celebration. Thanks to Eastside Golf for providing a special tee gift to every All-Star, making the experience even more memorable.

PGA REACH CNY and the Central New York PGA extends congratulations to Matt Morretti and the Corning Country Club teams on their outstanding performances, and appreciation to all players, families, and coaches who helped make All-Star Day a success.
