Members of the Central New York PGA kicked off the 2024 season at the Elm Tree GC Pro-Pro Tournament on May 7. The non-Section event was held Elm Tree Golf Club.
Michael Deuel (En-Joie GC) posted the low individual score with a 2-under-par 69 and finished first in the A Flight.
Joe Tesori (Pompey Club) won the Senior Division with a 1-over 72.
Three golfers tied for first in the B Flight with a 77. They were Ryan Hammerle (Onondaga G&CC), Steve Nacewicz (Crestwood GC) and Brian Smith (Cavalry Club).
There was a tie for first in the Team Pro Division with both teams finishing with 141. The father-son duo of Joe Tesori and Joey Tesori (CNY PGA Section) teamed up with Steve Nacewicz to card 141. Dennis Colligian (Cazenovia GC), Michael Morchauser (Sadaquada GC) and Bruce Martins (Elm Tree GC) also had 141.
The next non-Section Senior event is May 16 with the Senior Pro-Am at Afton Golf Club.
