The Central New York PGA had a successful PGA Junior League season with many young golfers playing this summer representing 25 CNY PGA Section golf courses.
This year, our Section’s PGA Junior League had 29 teams registered with more than 36 participants which was outstanding.
PGA Jr. League exists to bring communities together through fun, team golf experiences. In 2020, nearly 1,700 PGA Professional Captains rose to the challenges of the pandemic by creating responsible team golf experiences for nearly 37,000 kids.
Many CNY PGA professionals took time out of their busy summer schedule to be a team captain and/or take part in the program that is designed to help grow the game.
