Long Island native Griffin Tiriolo has joined the Central New York PGA staff as a seasonal intern from January to April. Tiriolo is a senior at the David B. Falk College of Sport Management at Syracuse University.

Tiriolo’s internship with the CNY PGA will include assisting CNY PGA Tournament Director Joe Tesori in setting up and marketing the 2022 Section Tournament Program. Tiriolo will also work with CNY PGA Player Development Director Brittany Siechen to assist in the upcoming Junior Tour, Drive Chip and Putt and Jr. League programs. He will also play a key role in promoting the CNY PGA Player’s Card rebrand.

“I’m excited about reaching new client bases and expanding the amount of golf played in CNY,” Tiriolo said.

Tirolo played three years of varsity golf at Half Hollow Hills High School. His knowledge of the game and his sports management experience will be an asset to the CNY PGA. He is interested in pursuing a career in sports management after graduation.
