The PGA REACH CNY Women’s Fall Championship was held at Oneida Community Golf Club, bringing women together for a unique team competition inspired by the Solheim Cup.
The two-person teams were divided into Junior and Senior divisions and competed in a Solheim Cup-style format featuring three different six-hole formats. 6ix holes were played as captain and mate, six holes of best ball and six holes of alternate shot-style play.
The event was open to everybody, with no handicap necessary, providing an opportunity for players of all abilities to compete together in a team format.
Monica Hamilton and Pennie Carlo captured the Junior Division title with a total score of 1-over-par 73.
The Senior Division title went to Diane Waldron and Linda Ptak following a match of cards. The pair finished with a total score of 4-over-par 76.
Following the competition, players gathered for dinner to cap off the event.
