Turning Stone Resort Casino was the site of the 2024 Junior Tour Championships on Aug. 6-7. Boys and girls ages 9-18 competed in their respective age divisions on consecutive days at Turning Stone with Round 1 at the Kaluhyat course and Round 2 at Shenendoah.

 

This year’s winners by age group were:

 

Boys 9-11: Collin Helmer of Manlius

Boys 12-13: Ashton Ricci of Vernon

Boys 14-15: Brayden Thomas of Syracuse

Boys 16-18: Jacob Olearczyk of Barneveld

Girls 9-11: Livia O’Rourke of Rome

Girls 12-14: Ellie Kent of Warners

Girls 15-18: Evie Denton of Rome

At the conclusion of the tournament, the Junior Player of the Year awards were determined. The 2024 boys and girls players of the year were:

 

Boys 12-13: Ashton Ricci

Boys 14-15: Brayden Thomas

Boys 16-18: Michael Stillwell

Girls 12-14: Ellie Kent

Girls 15-18: Kamryn Yerman

 

Winners and runners-up in the Junior Tour Championship and Players of the Year all qualify for the Tesori Mulherin Cup on August 18. Congratulations!
