Dennis Colligan and Eric Manning each shot a 1-under-par 70 and finished tied for first at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Pro-Am Series Championship. The tournament was held at Binghamton Country Club on Sept. 11.

 

Colligan (Cazenovia GC) and Manning (Elm Tree GC) both recorded four birdies against three bogeys. Both players also shot matching 34’s on the front 9.

 

FINAL ROUND

 

Manning and Colligan have had terrific 2023 seasons. Each has won a Turning Stone Pro-Am Series event – Colligan won the Pro-Am Team tournament while Manning won the Travel Pro-Am and the TS Series No. 1 tournaments.

 

This season, Colligan tied for first in two events and won three titles, including the Senior Section Championship. Manning won the Section Assistants Championship.

 

Ryan Evans (Dick’s Sporting Goods) and Mark Tucker (Cazenovia CC) finished tied for third at 1-over 72.

 

There was also a tie for the team event between The Pompey Club and Elm Tree Golf Club at 14-under 128.

 

The Pompey Club team members were: Professional Joe Tesori and amateurs Jaclyn Tesori, Jack Casion and David Doing.

 

The Elm Tree team members were: Professional Eric Manning and amateurs Trip Badorian, Doug Layaw and Cal Addy.

 

Alan Savage (Turning Stone) placed first in the Senior Division with a 2-over 73.
