With back-to-back rounds of 72 and 73, PGA of America Member Eric Manning successfully defending his title at the 2025 Performance Harley-Davidson Stroke Play Championship on June 2 at Seven Oaks Golf Course.

 

The Stroke Play Championship is one of the Central New York PGA’s major tournaments and worth double points in the Rolex Player of the Year standings.

 

 

CNY PGA Hall of Famer Manning (Elm Tree Golf Course) earned the win by avoiding any major mistakes over his 36 holes to finish at 1-over-par 145. He carded seven birdies against eight bogeys on the day.

 

Ryan McGinnis, PGA (Turning Stone Resort Casino) finished second at 6-over 150 after posting consistent rounds of 75 and 75.

 

FINAL RESULTS

 

There was a two-way tie for third place at 7-over 151 between Tim Hume, PGA (McConnellsville Golf Club) and Robert Larsen, PGA (Onondaga Golf & Country Club).

 

Dennis Colligan, PGA (Cazenovia Golf Club) fired a 2-under-par 70 in the morning to lead all players after the first round. He finished in ninth at 13-over 155.

 

 

Manning, who won at Soaring Eagles Golf Club last June, also won the Stroke Play Championship in 2019.
