The Central New York PGA had a successful PGA Jr. League season with many young golfers making friends and memories while playing this summer at various Section golf courses.
More than 450 junior players took part in programs this Spring, Summer and Fall. PGA Jr. League consisted of 13-under and 17-under teams with 20 golf courses participating.
PGA Jr. League exists to bring communities together through fun, team golf experiences. With every PGA Jr. League team, there is a PGA of America Member or Associate who took time out of their busy summer schedule to be a team coach or help assist with a program.
The CNY PGA thanks all the PGA of America Members and Associates who gave of their time to work with junior golfers and help grow the game. PGA Jr. League is a youth pillar program of the PGA REACH Central New York. Nationally, the program has grown to 75,000 kids playing on teams.
