On July 3, 2026, the local golf community gathered at Timber Banks Golf Club for a special mission. On behalf of the Central New York PGA Assistants Association, we are thrilled to announce that this year’s “Pros With a Cause” was a tremendous success, raising just over $1,000 for your PGA REACH CNY Foundation.
The heart of this event lies in its unique purpose: bridging the gap between game improvement and giving back. Throughout the day, CNY PGA Assistant Golf Professionals provided 20-minute lessons to participants, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward your Foundation. These vital funds will support programs that positively impact our local veterans and junior golfers, ensuring the game continues to grow and serve those who have served us.
An achievement like this is only possible through collective kindness. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. To the golfers who signed up for lessons, we hope you walked away with a sharper game and the pride of supporting a meaningful cause.
