Nick Serafino earned medalist honors in the PGA Professional category while Meadowbrook Golf Course placed first in the team event at the Rocky Kelly Pro-Junior Tournament on Aug. 15. The tournament took place at Green Lakes State Park Golf Course where Kelly was the head professional.

 

Serafino (Timber Banks) had five birdies on the front and finished with six to finish at 2-under-par 69.  The individual professional competition was a Rolex Player of the Year point event.

 

Jonny Petrin (Lakeshore 1860) and Trey Walewski (Meadowbrook) were tied for second at even-par 71.

 

LEADERBOARD

 

Walewski captained the winning Meadowbrook team which finished at 17-under 54 in the Team Scramble with juniors Tom Goodelle, Drew Mancini and Brevin Bennett. All teams consisted of one professional and three juniors.

 

Central New York PGA executive director Alan Seamans and his team of Ian Delpha, Mitchell Archer and Blaise Anthis finished second at 16-under 55.
