Defending champion Kevin VandenBerg and Tim Scheemaker are tied for first after the first round of the 46th annual Apogee Investment Management Senior Championship on May 20.
VandenBerg and Scheemaker share the tournament lead both carded an even-par 72 at Beaver Meadows Golf Club.
The 54-hole Senior Contest resumes May 21 at Tuscarora Golf Club. For the Senior Contest only, the field will be a cut after the second round to the top 12 and ties. The final round will be held May 22 at Drumlins Country Club.
In the Super Senior Contest, Tim McDermott sits atop the leaderboard with an even-par 72. Two-time Senior champion Tom Fletcher is in second seven strokes back at 7-over 79.
The 36-hole Super Senior Contest, for players 65 years and older, will conclude at Tuscarora.
