Seven Oaks Golf Club, located on the campus of Colgate University, is among the best campus and college public golf courses in the country according to GolfPass.com. The top 25 list was released Jan. 10.

GolfPass.com ranked Seven Oaks at No. 8 on its Golfers’ Choice 2022 Top 25 College Courses list.

Seven Oaks, which has hosted a number of Central New York PGA events, began renovations to the course and clubhouse last fall.

“We are tremendously excited for the renovations to begin,” says General Manager Dallas Pylinski, PGA. “These improvements are not only going to enhance the golfer experience, but make Seven Oaks a campus landmark that Colgate students and alumni are proud of.”

Colgate University is the proud owner of Seven Oaks, named after the ancestral home of the Colgate family. The 18-hole course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, has garnered accolades from Golfweek, The Golf Channel, and Golf Magazine. Seven Oaks Golf Club measures 6834 yards from the longest tees. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels.
