PGA of America Members Jay Turcsik and Kevin McCarthy teamed up to place first at the Spring Pro-Pro/Pro-Individual Tournament on May 26 at McConnellsville Golf Club.

 

In the Individual Professional category, Michael Deuel and Dennis Colligan tied for first.

 

The tournament competitions were 18 holes of individual and team Stableford format. Two-person teams were selected by blind draw. The format point system includes 1 point for a bogey, 2 points for a par, 4 points for a birdie, 6 points for an eagle and 8 points for anything better than an eagle.

 

LEADERBOARD

 

Deuel (En-Joie GC) and Colligan (Cazenovia GC) each earned 40 Stableford points to share first place. Deuel also won the Turning Stone Resort Casino Pro-Am Series No. 1 last week.

 

Eric Manning (Elm Tree GC) came in third with 37 points.

 

Turcsik (Mark Twain GC) McCarthy (Timber Banks) didn’t mind playing in chilly conditions as they topped the Pro-Pro Team leaderboard with 44 Stableford points.

 

Deuel and Dan Steinsdoerfer (Bellevue CC) came in second in the team event with 43 points.
