The Central New York PGA and Drumlins Country Club played host to the Region 2 PGA Jr. League Golf Regional Championship on Sept. 9-11.
The PGA Jr. League Syracuse 13U All-Stars were one of four teams in the 13U Division. They advanced to the finals but lost to the SNGC AM All-Stars.
The Syracuse All-Stars, coached by Drumlins CC’s head professional and CNY PGA President Sean Dadey, PGA, won a semifinal playoff to advance to the regional championship.

CNY PGA Executive Director Alan Seamans and Player Development Director Brittany Siechen were on-site to assist with the tournament. There were also two 17U teams at the Region 2 Regionals. The Syracuse All-Stars were the only team representing the Section.
Drumlins CC was one of 12 golf facilities to host a 2022 National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Regional in September. Nearly 200 teams of junior golfers ages 10-17 competed in the Regionals nationwide. Regional winners advance to the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, Oct. 6-9, which will be broadcast live on select ESPN networks.
