The 2025 Tesori Mulherin Cup was contested on Sunday, August 17, at Bellevue Country Club, with Team Mulherin earning the victory to stop a potential three-peat by Team Tesori.

The annual event, hosted by the Central New York PGA, is a match play team competition modeled after the Junior Ryder Cup. It was established to honor CNY PGA Hall of Famers Joe Tesori (The Pompey Club) and Linda Mulherin (Drumlins Country Club), who served as honorary captains again this year. Both Tesori and Mulherin have been instrumental in advancing junior golf across the region.

The 2025 field featured boys’ and girls’ point leaders from the CNY PGA Junior Tour season along with Junior Tour Championship winners. The tournament format consisted of six four-ball holes, six scramble holes, and six singles matches.

The Tesori Mulherin Cup has become a staple of the junior golf schedule and continues to celebrate both competition and tradition.

This year’s event was made possible with the support of Bellevue Country Club and the Esther Cannizzo Junior Golf Foundation.
