Dennis Colligan placed first in the individual PGA of America Member contest at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Pro-Team (Scratch) Tournament on Aug. 3. The event was held at En-Joie Golf Club.
Colligan (Cazenovia Golf Club) carded a 1-under-par 71 for his first win of the season. He birdied five of his last seven holes including three in a row to close out his round.
Dallas Pylinski (Seven Oaks GC) finished second at even par 72.
Three teams for first in the team competition at 11-under 133. They were:
*The Pompey Club with Joe Tesori, PGA, David Doing, Jackson Saroney and Anthony Maglisco.
*Yahnundasis GC with Zach Vinal, PGA, Rob Clark, Eric Vinal and Chris Clark.
*The Cavalry Club with Jon Petrin, PGA Associate, Nick Barney, Danny Thomas and Nick Bove.
